Rashonda Thornton is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a
decade of experience in providing mental wellness services. She is the
Founder of Recovery Transitions, LLC providing counselling, coaching
and educational services to individuals and their families
transitioning in their healing journey of Trauma, Grief and Addiction.

Utilizing her education in Criminology and First Responder
Certification she has been privileged to facilitate Crisis Management
and Debriefings for Law Enforcement throughout the metropolitan area.
In addition she has served as a Community Crisis Responder in
correctional and hospital entities for many years.

Rashonda is trained in a variety of evidenced based practice
treatments such as EMDR. Trauma -Focused Cognitive Behavior, Therapy
and Internal Family Systems. Her expertise is shared across multiple
disciplinary settings, supporting program development, educational
platforms and focus groups throughout the St Louis and St Charles
areas.
