Has worked diligently with First Responders over the past ten years assisting with program develop designed to help First Responders presenting with complications associated with trauma, general mental health, and family issues. Mr. Bass has worked with several police department as a primary mental health provider and with Responder Rescue as a mental health consultant. He has headed Critical Incident Stress Debriefings for both fire and police departments and routinely takes calls to assist officer experiencing a range of crisis situations. In addition, Mr. Bass has over twenty-five years’ experience that encompass working in private practice, acute and nonacute psychiatric hospital settings, emergency rooms, community mental health centers, substance abuse centers, with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, correction’s centers, community law enforcement agencies, and educational institutions. Mr. Bass is an exceptionally skilled practitioner who has worked with complexities associated with dual diagnosis disorders, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Personality, Eating, Post Traumatic Stress, Depressive, and or Mood Disorders in the inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. He is highly educated, trained and licensed as a Professional Counselor, Registered Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Missouri. Mr. Bass holds certifications for Anger Management, Clinical Trauma Treatment Professional, Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). He has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and EMDR methodologies.
